Can I just buy tickets at the gate?

Yes, we do allow tickets to be purchased at the gate and we will accept cash or card payments. We do suggest buying your tickets in advance, however, so we can ensure plenty of activity supplies and staffing needs.

Can we bring alcohol?

The Crown & Dragon Renaissance Festival (CDRF) is a children friendly event, and we do not currently sell alcohol at the event, nor do we allow it to be brought in from external sources for any reason.

Can we bring weapons?

Accepted Answer

YES! Swords, axes, spears, etc are welcome at the gathering! We understand that weaponry is integral to certain costumes and cosplays and we appreciate the authenticity! However, we do require ALL weapons to be zip tied for the duration of the event when traveling around the grounds. LARP, boffer, and foam weapons are exceptions to that rule, as long as combat REMAINS in the designated areas. If weapons if any kind are deemed as being misused or dangerous, staff retains the right to ask for immediate removal of the weapons from the grounds or peace tying them for retention.

Can I leave my children during activities?

No. Although the Crown & Dragon Renaissance Festival (CDRF) will be offering unique activities for our young heroes throughout the day in the HALL OF HEROES area, children (under 12) must be accompanied by someone 16 years or older at all times. One adult may be supervising multiple children. Our staff and volunteers will not be responsible for supervising children. At this time, we do not currently offer babysitting services.

What do I do if I have a medical problem?

A medical tent will be on-site for assistance. Medically trained staff will be present throughout the event. In case of emergency, an ambulance will be called to transport guests to the nearest hospital.

Can I bring my pet?

Accepted Answer

YES! We love all our animal friends and they are welcome to attend the event, BUT THERE ARE RULES!

Animals must be leashed at all times for the entire event and cannot be left unattended. 
Owners are required to bring their own waste disposal bags should an accident occur. However, please pay attention to your animals and ty to care for their needs outside of immediate fairground areas when possible, to help keep the fair a pleasant experience for all attendees.
Animals who show aggression of ANY KIND or are deemed dangerous by staff will be asked to be removed from the fairgrounds immediately.
A damages waiver will need to be obtained and signed at the gate before entiering the fairgrounds removing any responsibility from the fair for damages or incidents. Owners wil be entirely legally responsible of their animal is not well trained/behaved so please consider if your animal is well suited to join in the family fun.

We love all our animal friends, but not every pet is suited for a live environment with crowds and children. Since owners will be entirely legally responsible for their animal's actions and behaviors, please be kind and truly consider if your animal is well suited to join us in the family fun.

Don't forget water and bowls for your animals to drink! They get hot and tired just like we do!

Is it wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Wheelchair and stroller access may be somewhat limited due to this being mostly an outdoor event.  Some areas of the fairgrounds may be more difficult to access, and if there is rain or wet areas navigation could be more difficult.

What is the best form of payment?

Accepted Answer

There is no ATM on site to get cash. Most vendors do take credit cards but running cards can be slow depending on internet connection capabilities, so it is often suggested to bring cash.

Is camping allowed?

At this time, camping is not available on-site. However, there are many wonderful RV Sites, Camper Parking Locations, and Hotels nearby to help ensure comfortable stay and accessibility for all guests.

Are there any after hour activites?

The Crown & Dragon Renaissance Festival (CDRF) is a year one event. Because of this, we currently do not have after hour activities on our roster. This will likely change for future events as we continue to grow and expand our immersive experience.
