Hair Braiding / Temporary Hair Color

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and have their hair braided or have temporary color (from color chalk) applied to elevate their look and integration in the realms.

Eternity Bracelet Weaving

​Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and learn how to weave an eternity bracelet (or friendship bracelet) to add to their costume. We have 4 easy designs planned to give them some fun choices and style.

Flower Quilling

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and learn how to do paper quill work. We will let them choose 1 of 4 simple flower designs and teach them how to quill. A wonderful art expression and skill for any young adventurer to learn.

Rock Painting

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come help us paint rocks to decorate the elven realms in an ever-growing rock chain! These paintings can go home with you or be added to the growing lore of the fair year over year. We will have a few examples of Mandala Rock Painting and Animal Rock Painting for kids to learn, or they can forge a path/pattern of their own!

Fairy Hair-Crown Making

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come learn how to twist/braid and decorate a beautiful nature-inspired hair crown.

Dragon Egg Spoon Race Competition

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and show off their dexterity and agility in the teams-based Dragon Egg Spoon Race. Bring a team of your own or be assigned to a new side quest team upon arrival!

Bubble Barrage Party

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and have fun as we fill the Hall of Heroes with Bubbles and Music to dance themselves away in the magic and wonder.

Mini Figure Painting

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and paint their choice of 1 of 4 miniature figurine themes. Figurines will be themed for the first year of The Crown Dragon Renaissance Festival and can be taken home to play with in future campaigns.

Wizard Wand Making

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come to the Hall of Heroes to make their very own Wizard Wand.

Shield Painting

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and paint their very own small shield. We will have some stencils and aprons to help them choose and create the perfect adventurer's crest. These small shields will be wonderful to hang on a wall or window and display proudly.

Tower of Power Competition

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come compete in our Tower of Power Competition. If your young adventurer is a little artificer or just loves to build in general they will have a blast in this teamwork oriented competition of fun. Team size will be decided based on the number of participants who attend. The tower of power is a competition to build the tallest, strongest tower out of straws. Towers will be measured and tested to hold a lightweight dragon egg at the top. Everyone's a winner with the fun-filled strategic field of play.

Strongman Tug of War Competition

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come test their mettle in a team tug-of-war competition. Bring your own team to conquer the strength trials, or be assigned a new side quest party on arrival!

3D Dragon Egg Painting

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and paint their very own 3D Dragon Egg. Leave them to dry and pick them up before you leave - or come back and use them in our Dragon Egg Spoon Race later in the day (1130AM - 1215PM)!

Strongman Tug-of-War Competition

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and test their mettle in a team tug-of-war competition. Bring your own team to conquer the strength trials, or be assigned a new side quest party on arrival!

Shield Wall Practice

Young heroes (Age 17 & Under) can come and raise their defensive skills with this group shield wall activity. Learn to bolster your defenses, become a combat unit, and bring out your inner warrior.

Costume Parade / Contest

This Costume Parade/Contest is open to adventurers of all ages, young and old! Come dressed in your best as we parade around the outskirts of the realms and vote for our favorite categories! (Categories to be announced soon!)
